The Training Programme shows that a high standard of competency is required from - and met by - members of Wellington SAR.

The training programme evolves to meet the changing membership profile of Wellington SAR. Suggestions are always welcome.

Thursday evening training will usually be at the Wellington Central Police station and may include a meal (check notice at time of registration).

Registrations are called for the courses about three weeks before the event. This is to ensure that those registering are available for the event.

Wellington SAR are planning an "on line' booking system for Training. In the interim... PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER FOR TRAINING UNTIL REGISTRATIONS ARE CALLED FOR.

Members meetings

In addition to the following training events we hold meetings for Wellington Land Search and Rescue organisation members during the year.  The next meeting is listed on our home page and the meetings for the year can be found by clicking on here WLSAR EVENTS

Meetings are held at the Wellington Central Police Station and commence at 7.30 pm. They cover a variety of topics relevant to all members of Wellington Land SAR.
